INJECTION MOLDING

Injection Molding is a manufacturing technique used to make thousands of parts from both thermoplastic and thermosetting plastic materials. After a product is designed, molds are made from metal, usually steel or aluminum and are precision-machined to form the features of the desired part. These molds are the inverse of the product. Molten plastic is then injected at high pressure into the mold forming the product's shape. Injection molding is the most common method of production and is widely used for manufacturing a variety of parts, from the smallest component to entire body panels of cars.
