SELECTIVE LASER SINTERING

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS®) technology uses a CO2 laser to sinter layers of powdered materials direct from your 3D CAD data. A thin layer of powdered material is spread across the build chamber via a roller system. The laser then traces a two-dimensional cross section of the part sintering the material together. This process continues, layer-by-layer, until the physical 3D part is built. During the SLS® process, the part is suspended in the powder so no supports are required allowing for easy production of complicated components that have interior features. The SLS® technology can produce durable prototype and production quality parts in an array of materials.
